Meet Harshitha Chavan, a dedicated Business Analyst at RespectUs!
I’m thrilled to introduce myself as a proud member of the RespectUs team! I joined as a Business Analyst in December 2022, bringing a Bachelor of Technology in Information Science and Engineering from Bengaluru (2019) and a Master of Science in Space Studies from the International Space University (Strasbourg, 2021).
My journey into the space industry began with an internship at the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), where I had the incredible opportunity to work on the Monitor of All-sky X-ray Image (MAXI) experiment aboard the International Space Station (ISS). This hands-on experience solidified my passion for space exploration and honed my telemetry data validation and analysis skills.
As a Teaching Associate at the International Space University, I was privileged to engage with space professionals worldwide, immersing myself in diverse cultures and knowledge exchange.
At RespectUs, I’m diving deep into export control compliance within the global Space supply chain landscape. From spearheading the development of modules like Sanctions & Embargoes to crafting Due Diligence reports for EU organizations, I’m committed to simplifying the complex trade compliance landscape.
Outside of work, you can find me indulging in my love for food 🍽️, going for a refreshing swim 🏊, and getting creative with different hair color palettes! 💇♀️
